Have never been an avid bible reader, so when discussing religion my grandmother told me a story I had never heard before. It was about a woman who was told by god to run and not look back. She looked back, and turned into dust which blew away. when I asked about her soul or if she went to heaven, my grandmaw said no because she didn't obey god. I was dumbfounded that the god that had supposedly been so caring and forgiving took no mercy on this woman's soul. I haven't worshipped god after that day. I don't know if he is out there, but if he is, he doesn't sound like someone worth praising in that story. I have tried many times to restore my faith, but I can't make myself believe in something I don't. All I know is that if there isn't a god, and after death there is only nothingness, it would be a lot better than worshipping cruelty or burning in hell.

LMAO!!!!!
HAhahahaha
Not only was the story mangled beyond recognition but the outcome of her soul is totally unknown.
That's the reason that you stopped worshipping God? Because of a story you've never read being incorrectly told to you with a forced conclusion?
Good grief: atheists are dumber than we thought. At least do your own research instead of getting piecemeal stories third hand!by anonymous at
