I can tell my boyfriend everything, except that I am currently taking prescription appetite suppressants because I want to lose a little bit of weight. I know he wouldn't say anything or judge me, I am just too embarrassed.

Actually I have a thyroid condition that makes loosing anything very difficult. I still eat three meals a day, and I get enough nutrients, my doctor gave me a meal plan type thing to follow in order to do this the healthy way, I am also continuing to exercise regularly. The pills were just added to this combination of healthy eating and exercising temporarily to help me get started and help me to avoid snacking in between meals. I have talked to my doctor and am stopping these pills in one month and am not hoping to be stick thin, I would just like to loose a little bit of weight then get into a healthier lifestyle. Also, my version of skinny is going from a 29.5 BMI (which is considered overweight) to hopefully in the 22-25 range (which is on the higher end of normal weight)by Soon-to-be-Skinny

Hi Soon-to-be,
This is eating disorder territory. There is no such thing as someone who takes prescription appetite suppressants just to trim up a bit. You want to lose as much weight as you can as fast as you can.
That's a very unhealthy impulse and one which, if you allow it to escalate, could lead to serious consequences, including your own death.
My advice is that you address this in the appropriate way: stop the pills and speak to a professional about your eating disorder.
Remember: skinny is not desirable or attractive. And eating disorders are dangerous.by #Silent at
