My mother didn't eat anything today because she has to take a blood test tomorrow. She asked me to get something out of her car for her and when I asked why she couldn't do it she responded "You try not eating all day and see if you have energy". I had to bite my tongue not to scream back "Try not eating for three months then talk to me about being tired". A few years ago I had anorexia-nervosa and even though I'm pretty sure she knew about it, she never said anything or tried to help. Although I love her very much, part of me still hasn't forgiven her.
