All right, a few of you may remember the other day I posted that I was falling in love with my best friend, and most of you advised me to just ask her out and, worse come to worse, all she'd say was no.
Well. Our school prom is next week, and so I casually asked her if she'd like to go with me (I figured I could always say I had meant it as friends). Well, she said yes all right, and then did something I may never forget.
"So are we going out now?"
"...I-- do you want to?"
"I'd like that very much."
So now she and I are going out, and she's my best friend and my girlfriend and life has never been better.
Thank you to everyone-- Demon in Love, the most-- who encouraged me to tell her.
