If I was in that position I Think I would handle the situation differently. I would show the children that is great that they are so different instead of letting the children base their self image on what others think. The best is to allow the children to grow in their potential and not limit them.

If someone tells someone else something about themselves that isn't biologically possible then people will enquire more about it because that is what people do.
