I don't think it's the majority of people. I think people who stay married are people who can be flexible, adapt to change, and can sort through problems that arise in a mature way, through calm discussion, and have a basic sense of respect for each other. because once the honeymoon wears off, that's what you have. they say marriage is the art of compromise, and that sums it up pretty well.by married 20+ yrs, engaged @ 27 at

i know someone who got married at 18 and now, 10+ years later they are still married... still happy. i don't think i could ever do it though... i still feel too young at 20. i guess it depends on the peopleby anonymous at

have you ever watched engaged and underaged on mtv? there are some people that got married that young and seem quite happy. i'm 15 and my boyfriend was 18 and we were just "engaged" but he recently passed away. im sure when we got married we would have been happy.by anonymous at
