  • "Whatever happened to romanticism? This seems more like the death of it than anything. I'd rather be an AFC than a tool any day..." I agree with you 100% and I too share the same worry of her "Settling" However I w\quickly overcame the feeling after being with her. Just give her time to think and try to have a normal conversation with her, like before you asked her out. The next day after I was turned down by my current GF I talked to her like nothing happened. And now look where we are ^^. Remember, confidence is key, but don't over-do it.

  • Now that I look at it, the article is a bit polarizing yeah. It's Wikipedia though.

    The PUA stuff can be interpreted in several ways -- think of it as knowledge and an edge over some percentage of other guys. You can use that edge both for good and for harm. I don't believe in playing girls (and thus being a tool), but PUA stuff does help you attain the girls whom you actually like. No idea if it's a fault of the times, but true romanticism these days gets you only farther from the girl (unless she's chasing you first.) Being super nice and thoughtful and all that stuff will not win her heart.

    So you neither have to be a tool nor an AFC or whatever.

    I see what that article is trying to say, but it polarizes AFCs (average frustrated chumps) and PUAs (pick up artists).

  • God I hate my brother. Hes such a sloth. He sits around playing Gears of War all day, barly does anything, and when he does its half-assed. I can't wait till he fxxxing moves out.
