I don't think anyone really is thrilled about applying. Sure its scary, but at least you're getting the opprotunity to go. Lots of people don't even get to their senior year of high school.

I'm going to by a high school senior soon and unlike my friends I'm not excited about applying to colleges. In fact I'm scared shxxless, mainly because I am scared that I won't get in anywhere and will be a disappointment

"Sometimes I fantasize about my 7th grade English teacher. He was one of the only teachers at my Middle School who actually got me. We used to have extensive conversations about literature, and he was impressed by my knowledge despite my age. I had the biggest crush on him when I was 13...even though he was engaged (he was young too, only 24). It always happens in my mind like this; We see each other out somewhere and for some reason he recognizes me (even though I look completely different then I did when I was 13) and we start talking and decide to go get coffee. He tells me that he married his fiance, but she left him for another man 6 months ago. We talk some more, one thing leads to another and he kisses me, but what should have been awkward turns into the most amazing makeout session I've ever had. We exchange numbers and agree to meet again the next day at the Embassy Suites. He texts me with the room number and a time. I tell my parents I'm sleeping over at a girlfriends house(I'm 18, so it's not illegal) and I show up at the room wearing nothing but knee high boots and my trench coat with naughty lingerie underneath. From there we have hours of the most amazing sex, he gives it to me over and over again all over the room; on the bed, in the shower, in the tub, on the floor, on the table, standing up, me on top, doggy style, every position we can imagine. Our neighbors are likely annoyed by how loud we are. The next morning he orders us room service, and we decide to turn it into an affair(until the divorce is finalized). I haven't gotten past that part, but I imagine it becoming more than physical eventually." I deserve more than a night of sex or an affair. I am not just a boy. I am a whole person. it hurts me that is all you want. I am not become anyone's love. Know that. If that is what you wish know what it would not happen.

I know exactly how you feel. I was 18 when I had my first kiss. Most of my friends had theirs in middle school.
It's nothing to worry or be ashamed about. I didn't want to give my first kiss away to someone who didn't really mean something to me.
I hate to sound like a bad cliche, but the right boy will come along . I know waiting for him is a pain in the butt, but he'll come.

It's high school I'm enrolling in, not college. :)
I dropped out of high school near the end of my sophomore year and have decided to enroll again and finish.

I'm going back to school! And I'm doing it by my choice and for myself! I have found my purpose and meaning in continuing my studies! I can't wait until classes start this Fall! I'm a little nervous, as I've been out of the loop for over a year, but I'm so excited! :)

I will suceed in life because I am smart. I will be destroyed at high school because I am smart. A blessing or a curse ?

Anecdote from my childhood: I visited a friend when I was in elementary school. She had a beautiful pond outside her house. She showed me around that amazing place. I could not keep my eyes away from the big fish. Therefore, I did not paid any attention to her big, scary dogs. One of her dogs was lose; From behind it attack me, broke my sunday pink dress and I fell face up to the concrete. Everything happened so fast that I did not have to time to feel fear at that moment. Then I got up and walk to my house.

well, i did choose to do something else, and that choice was done today at 9:54 a.m. thanks.
and no, i was not judging the kids, but the parents. dont WHINE about how gas is expensive, about how you cant make payments, about how the university cant HELP you, LISTEN, you decided to bring your kid to a private school. you might be driving a BMW. Don't ask us for help. And for the parents that are really struggling, think of your choices? why private? Sure, it may be your son's dream school, but if it's not attainable, you can't expect the world to front the cost.

worst job in the world: financial aid counselor. i dont want to deal with coming up with ways on how to pay for your son or daughter's expensive private school tuition! its not my responsibility, nor the school's! its yours choice! rant.

God I hate my brother. Hes such a sloth. He sits around playing Gears of War all day, barly does anything, and when he does its half-assed. I can't wait till he fxxxing moves out. He butts into my personaly life constantly bugging everyone I know... I tell everyone we know that I was adopted because of him too. By now I have half the school believing it.

Oh, my God, stop trying to hold me back. You didn't think I could handle honors courses, but I did easily. You didn't think I could handle any afterschool things, but I did easily. And now that it's time for AP and a different language choice, look who doesn't think I can handle it? Stop trying to hold me back just because you don't think YOU can do it.

oh god yes. one more day of school then i can leave it all behind forever. even the buildings getting knocked down, so i wont have to walk past it anymore. im sure some of you understand how *great* that feels.
-
I don't believe in God because in the physical world that I live in, an all-powerful being that watches over everyone in the world seems a little far-fetched, what with people starving and in pain all around the world. I understand how religion and God appeal to some people [and I'm actually considering going to divinity school] so I was wondering: what do you think comes after death?
-
I got accepted by many good schools. I chose the one I could pay. Maybe if I had the money to pay for my top choices we could never met.
-
I cut myself today at home on purpose, and now at school, blood is seeping through my pants, visible to everyone... :(

I finish school in four months. I'm terrified. It was so much easier when I thought I'd be leaving it with you... even though I never want to see your face again, it's so scary having to do this alone...
